It’s been a very memorable day. Finally after around a month of trying, I finally have a 3 month Russian business visa. I’m sure I’ll write a good long piece about that at some stage, and why it’s a 3 month business visa!
This evening I headed to my first ever ‘tweetup’, meeting a few other London-based travel bloggers. It was fun to put faces to the names I’d seen on Twitter, and I learned a lot. Some amazing people, including two with a camera man who followed them around (hat-tip to @aswetravel), the organiser @TravelingEditor, @AussieNomad and more. Thanks guys, hope to meet again somewhere in the world!
The evening has helped bring some of my thoughts about travel blogging into some clarity, and will hopefully see many changes on this blog in the coming days and weeks.
For starters as I’ve not managed to finish my South American blog posts, I’ll keep doing them when possible, but only inbetween this big trip. I’ll try and make a category page for each, making it easier to see the trips as a whole, possibly with a nifty map for each (thanks to Liz for that idea). And then I’m also hoping to start another travel website, but more on that to come…
For now, it’s time for a good sleep, as I have a lot to do before the bus tomorrow…
